Toyo Kitchen Style Shop Nagoya, located in the Nagoya Showroom named "Showroom in the Sky|THE HOUSE", has won the ICONIC AWARDS 2024, an international design award from Germany that recognizes outstanding design and architecture.
"Transforming Living into entertainment", the Toyo Kitchen Style brand concept is integrated and expressed as a place for entertainment.
Toyo Kitchen Style Shop Nagoya, designed by L&B Co.
The word "glow" refers to the long, thin streaks of light that shine through the gaps in the clouds. Following the "flower" design concept of the first flagship store in Osaka, the shop was designed to resemble an ideal world where light pouring down from the sky and beautiful furniture resonate with each other.
In the center of the store, an objet d'art was created as a presentation area to express the store concept, with a stainless steel bird, the "0 (zero) bird," dancing in the light.
The bird reflects the light and changes its luster over time.
The moooi carpet, one of the products, is displayed on the wall like a beautiful painting, and products from three different brands (TOYO KITCHEN STYLE, Kartell, and moooi) are beautifully arranged in one space, with lighting designed to match the characteristics of each product. The lighting is also designed to match the characteristics of each product.
Established by the German Design Council, it is the first independent international architecture and design competition that takes into account the interaction of different disciplines. Prizes are awarded for visionary urban planning and architecture, innovative products and building solutions in the interior sector, and communicative concepts in all areas of architecture, construction, real estate and manufacturing.
